Numskull Games has taken to Twitter to confirm the tech specs for the PS5, PS4 and Switch versions of Clive ‘N’ Wrench, and disappointingly, the PS5 version of the game is quite as optimised as you may have hoped for.
According to the studio, the PS5 version of Clive ‘N’ Wrench will run at 30 FPS/1080p, which is the exact same as the PS4 version of the game. The version available on Sony’s new-generation console does however include improved draw distance, dynamic lighting, dynamic objects, shader quality and particle effects.

If you’re interested, the Switch version of the game will run at 30 FPS/720p in handheld mode and dynamic 720p & 1080p while docked.
Clive ‘N’ Wrench is scheduled for release on February 24, 2023 and takes the form of a 3D platform that follows Clive the rabbit and his monkey buddy, Wrench. The game plucks inspiration from the likes of Spyro the Dragon and Jak & Daxter, and sees the duo embarking on a quest to save Clive’s cousin and put a stop to the dastardly Dr. Daucus.
