Though other old-gen consoles may have to wait for the launch of their versions, Hogwarts Legacy is set to come to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this February. To make sure fans are prepared for the launch, Avalanche Software has released the specs required to play the game on PC.
Here’s the post:
There are actually four lists depending on the resolution that fans want to play the game on. For the recommended settings, the game is demanding at least an Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5-3600. As for the lowest specs, you have to have at least an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Radeon RX 470.
When it comes to Ultra and Ultra 4K Specs, the game demands an Intel Core i7-10700x or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. Ultra 4K does demand an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT; Ultra requires NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
Take not, next month’s launch will only be for new-gen consoles and PC, so anyone using an Xbox One, PS4, or Nintendo Switch will have to wait a little longer until the launch of their version of the game. In the meantime, it looks like the Wizarding World is opening up first for gamers who are already on new-gen (or PCs that match the required specs).
Hogwarts Legacy launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Feb. 10 with releases for Xbox One and PS4 on April 4, and the Nintendo Switch on July 25.
