Former Boss Key Productions chief and LawBreakers developer, Cliff Bleszinski, has teased that fans should ‘stay tuned’ for news on the shooter, despite the game being shut down in September 2018.
The Gears of War creator tweeted overnight that he had received a text from his lawyer concerning LawBreakers, which was taken offline due to failing to ignite enough interest from players to sustain support.
Just got a text from my lawyer about… LawBreakers. Stay tuned.
This latest development is interesting as it’s been nearly five years since LawBreakers was pulled offline, but perhaps we’re looking at a revival of sorts? We’ll just have to wait and see.

A few years after the game was shut down, Bleszinski admitted that putting LawBreakers on PS4 over Xbox One, suggesting it would have made more sense to bring it to the Microsoft console following the success of Gears of War.
