CD Projekt RED has revealed it is planning another major update for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The Witcher 3 was released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S back in December, and offers a number of visual and quality of life improvements over the PS4 and Xbox One release. Furthermore, it also includes all previously released expansions, making it the definitive version of the critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG.

Looking ahead for the franchise, CDPR is working on a brand new series of The Witcher games, as well as a remake of the original game. The remake won’t be released until after The Witcher 4 however, so we’ve got a bit of wait on our hands.
