Prominent PlayStation Plus leaker billbil-kun has claimed that the PS5 discounts that have been doing the rounds in Spain and Portugal recently may also come to the US and UK.
There’s no word yet on when the discounts may come into effect, but the leaker has provided details on what savings we can expect. In the UK, the PS5 is set to be discounted by £75 to £404.99; in the USA it will drop to $449.99 with a $50 discount; and finally in Germany, it’s reported to drop €75 to €474.99.

While we’re on the subject of PS5, Sony is heavily rumoured to be working on a new version of its flagship console that features a detachable disc drive. There’s also chatter about a PS5 Slim, although at this point it may be that the system is not really all that trim after all.
If that wasn’t enough, Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming has claimed that a PS5 Pro is also in the pipeline, with development kits supposedly on their way to creators in the next few months as of May 2023.
