Stellar Blade developer Shift Up has revealed in an interview with PLAY3.DE that the game will feature three graphics modes for players to choose from, which prioritises frame rate and resolution as well as a more balanced approach.
The first is Performance Mode which offers 60 FPS as you would expect from a PS5 game nowadays, while the other, Resolution Mode, gives the visuals a bit more shine in 4K resolution. The final mode, Balanced, meets both of those previous modes in the middle for the best of both worlds.

Stellar Blade is due for release on April 26, 2024 for the PS5, and its director, Kim Hyeong-tae, recently told RULIWEB that the game will take around 25 hours to complete.
Stellar Blade takes place in the near future, where humanity has lost a war to alien invaders known as Naytiba and have been forced to flee Earth. In order to reclaim the planet, protagonist Eve and her squad are dispatched to the Colony to fight the invaders and reestablish a foothold on Earth. Stellar Blade utilises a third-person viewpoint and focuses on battling enemies by learning their attack patterns and countering with precise strikes.
